Gorelo v0.9.9.9.8 – August 17th, 2020

Ticketing System

  • When making the first billable time entry, the system asks for the default billing location of the client/contact associated with the ticket – if it hasn’t been set already 
  • Contacts associated with a certain ticket will only receive Ticket Status update emails for the Ticket Statuses selected from the Ticket Status section under the main Settings screen 

Contracts Management – NEW!

  • Users can add hourly agreements 
  • Users can use the Billing Role Price or Standard Price for the hourly agreements 
  • Users can add Products and Bundles in the agreements 
  • Users can set the billing date for a contract – the system will automatically generate invoices for that contract on the set billing date  
  • Users can view and access all contracts from the Contracts List  

Remote Monitoring Management (RMM)

  • Design improvements have been made to the Device List screen to organize the device details better 
  • Users can now see Client and its location information on the Device Details screen 
  • Users can also change the location of the Client directly from the Device Details screen 
  • Users can enter Serial Number, Warranty information, Manufacturer Service Tag, Internal Asset Tag, and Primary User information on the Device Details screen 
  • A new timeline has been added to the Device Details screen with the following 4 tabs: 
    • Everything – shows a chronological timeline of all events including all the Scripts executed, Alerts generated, and errors that occurred on the device 
    • Alerts – only shows the list of Alerts generated on the device 
    • Logs – shows Alerts, Application errors and System errors encountered on the device 
    • Scripts – shows the list of all Scripts executed on the device  

Billing and Invoicing

  • A new invoice review screen, that allows users to review and approve the invoices generated for closed tickets, has been added with the following 3 tabs: 
    1. Waiting for Approval 
      • This tab contains closed tickets with at least one billable time entry for the clients that have a contract with the service provider 
      • Users can edit and update billable time entries for the closed tickets from this tab (original time entries on the ticket do not change) 
      • Users can mark closed tickets as Approved from this tab 
    2. Approved 
      • This tab contains closed tickets that have been Approved 
      • Here, users can generate invoices for the closed tickets that have been approved 
    3. Uncovered Work 
      • This tab contains closed tickets with at least one billable time entry for the clients that do not have a contract with the service provider or the work type used in tickets is not covered in contracts 
      • Users can edit and update billable time entries for the closed tickets from this tab (original time entries on the ticket do not change) 
      • Users can generate invoices for the closed tickets from this tab 
  • All invoices created from the invoice review screen or generated automatically by the system will be added to the Invoice List with their status set to “Draft” 
  • All comments added to the Time Spent entries will also appear under the description section of the invoices 
  • These comments will also appear on invoice PDFs 
  • Users can edit and update invoices from the Invoice Detail screen 
  • Users can now add Default Billing Location for the Client as well

Ticketing System

  • Updates related to the Tickets List: 
    • On the ticket card in the Tickets List, the Contact Name is now shown in the first line and the Client Name now in the 2nd line 
    • Users can see added and deleted Products info on tickets in the Tickets List 
    • Users can see added and deleted Time Spent info on tickets in the Tickets List 
    • Users can now see the latest comments added to a ticket, directly from the Tickets List 
  • Updates related to Time Spent entries: 
    • Users can now enter the Start Time in their Time Spent entry 
    • Time Spent entries added to a ticket will now be shown under the Time tab in the Timeline section on the Ticket Details screen 
    • Users can delete or edit Time Spent entries from the Timeline section only 
    • Timeline events for the Time Spent entries will be shown after a summary of all the Time Spent entries of the ticket 
  • Updates related to Products:
    • Products added to a ticket will now be shown under the Products tab in the Timeline section on the Ticket Details screen 
    • Users can delete Products from the Timeline section only 
    • Timeline events for Products will be shown below the Products summary 
  • Design changes for Public and Private Comments:
    • Users can now add Public or Private Comments by simply switching between their dedicated tabs 
    • A color distinction has been added for Private Comments

  • The list of time zones has been extended to cover the most common time zones from all over the world

Ticketing System

  • The timeline on the Ticket Details screen has been redesigned with the following 5 tabs:
    • Everything – shows a chronological timeline of all events including public and private comments, status updates, assignee updates, time entries, and products 
    • Discussion – shows public comments made by both, the technicians and clients

General Controls and Features

  • Users can now install Gorelo as a Progressive Web App on their browsers 
  • The Settings menu and window have been redesigned and restructured 
  • The Admin menu has been removed and the Admin functions have been relocated under the redesigned Settings menu 
  • Integrations now appear as a separate option in the main menu 
  • A section of Labor Rates has been added under the Settings menu, where users can add Billing Roles and Work Types.

  • Users can now define their own domains for inbound/outbound ticket emails

Billing and Invoicing

    • If the Xero integration is enabled, creating a Client in Gorelo will automatically create a Contact in Xero

    • When a new Client is created, the Client name will automatically be copied into the Billing name field 
  • Billing Roles and Work Types 
    • New Service Provider will have “Technician” as the default Billing Role and “Remote” as the Work Type 
    • Service Providers can define their own Billing Roles and Work Types for their Technicians

  • Single Sign-On (SSN) is now available to create and login to your Gorelo account 

Ticketing System

  • Service providers can now set a custom ticket number and code and change it as many times as they want, as long as the new number proceeds the numbers already used before 

Integrations

  • Users can now add or remove integration for SentinelOne anti-virus 
  • Users can now add integration for Xero billing and invoicing system 
  • Users can map their clients with Xero from the clients list 
  • Users can map and un-map their clients with SentinelOne from the clients List 
  • The icons for “Xero” and “SentinelOne” show up on the clients that are mapped to them 

Billing and Invoicing

  • User can delete the invoices that are in “Draft” 
  • Gorelo no longer allows changes in “Approved” invoices 
  • Approved invoices can now be marked as “Void” and users can enter payment only when the invoice is not synced with Xero 
  • Users can now add partial payments to the invoices and track the remaining payments 
  • For users that enable Xero integration: 
    • Once the invoices are approved, they will automatically sync with Xero 
    • Changes to synced invoices made from Gorelo will automatically reflect in Xero

    • Users can also view the synced invoices in their Xero account under the Invoice List 
    • Users can only enter payment on synced invoices from Xero 
    • Users can mark synced invoices as “Void” both, from their Xero and Gorelo accounts

  • On the Device List screen: 
    • Users can now install SentinelOne anti-virus on the listed devices 
    • Users can also uninstall SentinelOne anti-virus from the listed devices 
    • Users can view the installation info for the anti-virus on the listed devices 
    • Users can map the device with a SentinelOne agent 
    • Users can also un-map SentinelOne agent from the listed devices 
  • On the Device Details screen: 
    • Users can see whether SentinelOne anti-virus is installed on the target device 
    • Users can perform anti-virus scans on the target device 
    • Users can view a list of threats found on the target device post virus scan 
    • The screen has been redesigned to show each information section of the target device separately, where the user can toggle between each section using the section icons placed on the top right of the device details screen

General Controls and Features

  • All search fields now support single letter-based search recommendations if the data set for that field is small (i.e., doesn’t have too many entries) 
  • Added a BACK button to the interface that now allows users to navigate back from the current screen to the previous screen 
  • The application will now show the user that they’re offline, when there’s no internet connection 

Ticketing System

  • Ticket details pop out window from ticket list now opens with a double-click 
  • The system now highlights unviewed tickets and the tickets that got updated for easy identification by the user 

Scripting

  • Users can now set the scripts to expire after they’ve been executed on the target system 
  • Fixed one of the Script Run labels (from “Every Minute” to “Every 30 Minutes”) 
  • Schedule info will be shown to the user at the time of setting up a schedule for user assistance

  • If the client address is valid and it able to locate the coordinates and geo-location for the address, that address gets a Green tick in front of it in the client’s profile so you know which of your addresses are valid and have been geo-located on the map
